Dawid Konieczny Interiors is a design studio founded in 2021 by Dawid Konieczny. In his projects, he blurs the boundaries between genres, creating works that are not obvious, yet sophisticated and, above all, functional. He approaches each project individually, analyzing all circumstances and factors. In his designs, he selects appropriate textures, materials, and shapes that create expressive visual effects.

“Timeless interior design is all about balance, quality, and authenticity. ” — Dawid Konieczny.

iPremium DD: Could you specify some interior trends for 2025? Which one would you personally incorporate into your designs?

D.K.:Dawid Konieczny: In my opinion In 2025, interiors are becoming more sensual, rich in textures, and inspired by nature’s color palette but this trend is already existing for couple of years but there is one color that could be kinda dominant in this year - warm deep brown in chocolate or even slightly cherry tones.  Dark, brunette flooring is making a comeback, adding elegance and depth to spaces. There is also a growing emphasis on personalization — vintage furniture, handmade pieces, and unique design elements are replacing mass-produced items. Yeah the forms in the interior are still organic and curved for 2025 but is another thing to mention - gloss.. is back! I mean for sure not in glamour style but deep multi-layer varnished surfaces with a bit of gloss like on the table, cabinet or even in the walls paint.

iPremium DD: What are the secrets to achieving a timeless interior design?

D.K.: Timeless interior design is all about balance, quality, and authenticity. Choosing high-quality materials such as solid wood, natural stone, and handcrafted elements ensures longevity and aesthetic appeal. A neutral yet sophisticated color palette—earthy tones, soft whites, and muted hues—creates a foundation that can evolve with trends without feeling outdated. I mean proportions and symmetry (but there are some exceptions) are the key. To create a timeless interior we have to understand the past and imagine the future, so it's good to use some kind of vintage furniture/lamps in combination with more contemporary design.

iPremium DD: How do you find the balance between the client’s needs and wishes and your own creative vision for the project?

D.K.: Balancing the client’s needs and my creative vision is a process of dialogue and trust. I believe that every project is a collaboration, where my role is to translate the client’s aspirations into a well-designed, cohesive space. Of course there are some of the projects when I show the concept to clients and they already totally in and want it all, another situation is when they just need a bit more time to understand and proceed but sometimes it is also a bit longer process of searching solutions by deeply understanding their lifestyle, preferences, and expectations. My role is to guide them toward refined solutions that align with their needs while bringing my own expertise in aesthetics, functionality, and spatial harmony.

iPremium DD: How would you define the style in which you work and create interior designs? What are the key characteristics of your approach?

D.K.: My design style is a refined mix of contrasts—classic elegance meets contemporary minimalism, vintage pieces blend with modern craftsmanship. I love creating spaces that feel sophisticated yet inviting, rich in texture, and thoughtfully curated. The key principles of my style are :

• Layered textures – mixing different materials like wood, stone, glass, and textiles to create depth and warmth.

• Subtle color palettes – favoring muted, natural tones with well-placed accent colors for contrast.

• Functional elegance – every detail should serve a purpose while contributing to the overall aesthetic.

• Timeless over trendy – integrating classic elements that will remain beautiful for years rather than following short-lived trends.

iPremium DD: Where do you find inspiration for product design?

D.K.: Of course I could say my inspirations comes from a variety of sources—architecture, fashion, art, and nature yeah its a bit true however, many of the products I design—such as tables, chairs, and other furniture pieces—are often a direct result of my vision for the interior itself. They are not standalone objects but rather an extension of the space I am creating. If I cannot find the perfect piece that aligns with my concept, I design it myself to ensure it seamlessly integrates into the project. So for the biggest inspiration field I would call my imagination. I also draw from the past—midcentury design, Art Deco details, and the craftsmanship of different eras. Combining these influences with contemporary functionality allows me to create pieces that feel both nostalgic and modern.

iPremium DD:  Despite the fact that your design studio was founded in 2021, your projects have already been featured in leading industry magazines. What is the secret to your success?

D.K.: I mean I am the Taurus and as Taurus we placed our goals high and we work really hard to achieve them. The success of my studio comes also from a strong, authentic vision and an unwavering commitment to quality. From the beginning, I focused on creating interiors that are more than just beautiful—they are thoughtfully designed, deeply personal, and rich in character. I also believe that consistency is key. Each project reflects a distinctive aesthetic language that combines sophistication with livability.  Beyond design, relationships matter. I collaborate with skilled artisans, trusted suppliers, and visionary clients who share my passion for creating exceptional spaces. This combination of talent, craftsmanship, and attention to detail has been instrumental in establishing my brand so quickly.
