ELIE SAAB Maison to Present New Collection at Milano Design Week 2026
ELIE SAAB Maison is set to reveal its new furniture and interiors collection during Milano Design Week 2026, staged across a dedicated showroom at Via Pietro Mascagni 2, Milan. Open to the public from 20 to 26 April 2026, the presentation runs daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Registrations are available at eliesaabmaison.themilanesehouse.com.
The presentation takes the form of a narrative installation titled "The Milanese House. Una notte a Milano." — a room-by-room staging conceived to evoke the atmosphere of a private Milanese apartment after dark. The concept draws on the visual language of 1970s Italian cinema, translating its stillness and restrained sensuality into a spatial format where architecture, sound, art, and design operate as a unified whole.
The collection is designed under the creative direction of Carlo Colombo, who interprets Elie Saab's aesthetic sensibility through what the brand describes as a cinematic lens. The stated influences combine Mediterranean warmth with the compositional discipline associated with Milanese interiors, grounded in Italian craftsmanship traditions.

Two pieces anchor the collection's debut presentation. The Mascagni Sofa is defined by a plissé surface treatment — a folded textile effect that produces a sculptural quality while retaining a soft tactile register. The technique reflects precision in manufacturing and draws directly from artisanal methods associated with Italian textile and upholstery work.

The Onda Armchair pairs an enveloping seat form with a refined metal base, balancing structural definition with a fluid silhouette. Both pieces are positioned within the broader narrative of the installation rather than presented in a conventional showroom format, reinforcing the brand's framing of design as an element of lived domestic space rather than objects in isolation.
Milano Design Week — held annually in April in conjunction with the Salone del Mobile — functions as one of the principal platforms through which international design and interiors brands launch new collections and communicate creative direction to trade buyers, press, and the broader design community. ELIE SAAB Maison's participation in the 2026 edition positions the brand within Milan's broader design calendar, alongside established and emerging voices from across the sector.
The choice to frame the collection as a narrative environment — with sound, lighting, and spatial sequencing as deliberate components — reflects a wider trend at design fairs toward experiential formats that contextualise products within inhabitable settings rather than presenting them as standalone objects.
ELIE SAAB Maison is the interiors and home design division of the ELIE SAAB group, originating from the fashion house founded by Lebanese designer Elie Saab. The Maison line extends the brand's visual identity into furniture, textiles, and decorative objects, with a focus on residential interiors and a design language that draws on the founder's background in haute couture — particularly in its treatment of fabric, surface, and proportion.
