"What is always present in each of our projects is beauty, style, comfort, functionality, and the use of modern technologies." - Aliya Khalfetdinova
iPremium DD: Can you describe the style in which you work and which is closest to you?

A.K.: Most often, we work in modern minimalism, using neutral shades with small accents. We also work in a laconic modern classic style. I would say that every client is our co-author. We listen to all their ideas and wishes and bring them to life in our design projects.

iPremium DD: In your opinion, which interior style is the most timeless? Why?

A.K.: The timeless style is one that offers coziness and comfort, designed individually for the client according to their desires, needs, and dreams of an ideal home.

iPremium DD: In your opinion, what should a dream house for a family with two children look like? What aspects would you particularly pay attention to?

A.K.: The ideal house is different for every family. We are convinced of this every time. It is important for us to create a space that is thought out to the smallest detail, where every corner is functional and practical. Generally speaking, we emphasize having a separate parent block (bedroom, bathroom, and dressing room), separate bedrooms for each child (if possible), and bathrooms. Also important is a common space — a combined living room, kitchen, and dining area — a single room for the comfortable accommodation of all family members and guests.

iPremium DD: Who among the architectural/design icons inspires you?

A.K.: Our main sources of inspiration are our clients. They are always such different, creative, energetic, and amazing people who inspire and energize us.

iPremium DD: Could you highlight some interior trends that you use most often and the most relevant interior techniques?

A.K.: The most relevant now are minimalism, eco-style, and eclecticism. Society strives for conciseness, reducing background and visual noise, and getting closer to nature. At the same time, it is always important for the interior to reflect the character and individuality of the future residents.

iPremium DD: Eco and sustainable designs have been trends in the interior/design industry for several years. What do you think about this? Do you use, for example, furniture made from recycled materials/bamboo/teak in your projects?

A.K.: It is definitely a trend that is hard to deny or ignore. Personally, I recycle old items myself; it is important to me. If we have an eco-active client, we gladly support this initiative and extend it into the interior. Even Kartell produces a range of items from recycled and bioplastics.

iPremium DD: Can you give some advice to aspiring designers?

A.K.: Aspiring designers need a lot of patience, strength, and love for the work. It is also necessary to continually learn a lot, listen to yourself and your clients.
